FAQ

This is my first photoshoot and I’m kind of nervous.

Who wouldn't be?! New things can be scary but I assure you that you're in good hands. I work with a lot of people who have never had photos done before. We can chat a bit before the session to ease your nerves and I always give fun prompts for you to focus on so you can *almost* forget that I'm even there. I try to make it a fun experience so we can leave as friends by the end of it.

What should I wear?

Neutral tones go best with my editing style. Try to avoid busy designs as it can take focus away from you. However, the absolute most important thing to remember is wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable and confident.

I want my photos done but don't want them posted.

Aside from my desire to create imagery you love, the utmost important thing to me as your photographer is your privacy. I always ask for permission to post after photos are delivered to my clients. I value your privacy and ask no questions when clients choose to not have them posted.

Do you deliver raw, unedited images?

I do not offer raw images to be sent to my clients. I choose all of the best photos to put in your gallery and edit them to reflect my style and art. Raw images are too big of files to send anyway, and unedited images aren't a true representation of my work.

Is there a certain time of day that you take pictures?

If they are indoor or a wedding, I can do anytime of day. If they are outdoor, I highly recommend shooting at either sunset or sunrise so we can create the most beautiful images.

Do you have recommended locations?

I do! Once you inquire, I will send a list of locations I have found to make beautiful backdrops for sessions.

Do you have backups?

I always ensure my camera is recording to 2 SD cards. I also always bring my backup camera, lens, plenty of SD cards, flash and anything else I may need to every session in the rare case of a technology malfunction.
